Ex-Menudo Star Robi Draco Rosa Has Cancer

Ex-Menudo star Robi Draco Rosa has cancer.  According to People en Español, the news was announced to press by the 41-year-old singer’s publicist, Angelo Medina.  After multiple exams and visits to medical specialists in the U.S., Medina said a cancerous tumor was found in Draco Rosa’s stomach, near his liver.  The Grammy winner is currently in special treatment in Burzynski Clinic in Houston, Texas.  Medina asked his fans to not give up on prayers for his client.

We can't lie: We could barely contain our excitement when we heard this bit of news! According to numerous reports, the music of Menudo (the phenom Latin boy band) is going to be used to create a musical set to debut in Caracas, Venezuela, this November.

The huge production is being backed heavily—we’re talking millions of dollars here—and casting will take place all over Latin America. Original Menudo Producer and founder Edgardo Diaz is said to be on board to advise and help with the production. Here’s hoping it makes it to Broadway soon.

Menudo Bandmember Carlos Olivera Kicked Off Delta Flight

Menudo band member Carlos Olivero hasn't been flying the friendly skies. The boybander was escorted by security off a Delta flight in Atlanta after refusing to put away his iPod.

The 18-year-old heartthrob, his mother, and his bandmates were on board the plane together on July 4 as it prepared to leave for Knoxville, Tennessee, when Carlos was told to leave the plane, a source says.
