The two were in town promoting Emilio’s new film, The Way, which he wrote, directed, and stars in (as Martin’s on-screen son).

We didn’t see this one coming! Martin Sheen and his son Emilio Estevez are currently collaborating on a memoir called Along the Way.
The book celebrates the “physical and spiritual journey,” of both Sheen and his son is set to hit stores this Father’s Day. The memoir covers everything from the Estevez’s families roots in Spain to the special bond between the father and son. It also will touch on The Way, a film that will be directed by Estevez and will star Sheen.
