Tonight on MTV Tr3s’ reality series, Quiero Mi Boda, we meet 27-year-old Kendra and 28-year-old Moises. The couple, who live in Texas, met three years ago while Kendra, now a nurse, was studying abroad in Mexico for several months. A musician in a local club, Moises eventually became what Kendra called her ‘computer boyfriend’. The couple spent countless hours communicating via Internet and phone until Moises moved to Texas to be with Kendra.

As you all know a few months back I postponed my wedding date. As a result, I had to decide how I wanted to follow-up with my guests to notify them of the new date for my big day. I really didn’t want to do the website thing because I simply don’t like it, so I caved in and ordered some simple laser print invites. I felt it was important for the new invite to be complimentary to the original invite, so I made sure it was designed based off of what I’d already sent out.

Anny, who is a Catholic Dominican, struggled with planning her wedding with her fiancé Danny, who is Guyanese and of Hindu faith. After much back-and-forth the couple decided to hold two wedding ceremonies!

Tonight on MTV Tr3s’ reality series, Quiero Mi Boda, we meet 25-year-old Jessyca and 28-year-old Osaze, a Texan couple who share the same religious faith but very different cultural customs. Jessyca was born in Mexico and Osaze was born in Washington, D.C. to Nigerian parents and because their respective cultures mean a lot to them, figuring out how to mesh both backgrounds on their special day proved a challenge. They managed to do so, African dancers and the Virgin Mary included.

I recently found out that my sis and mom are planning my bridal shower and I’m very excited for the festivities begin! I’m even more excited about the dress I intend on wearing; it is THE perfect dress for a bridal shower, in fact I have had the dress in my closet for a couple of months now, just waiting to be worn on this particular day.

You know how when someone close to you is pregnant, all of sudden it seems like every single woman you see is pregnant?
Well, I kind of feel that way with the “D” word: DIVORCE. Now that I am so close to my wedding date, I feel like I keep on hearing about people getting divorced and with the whole J.Lo and Marc Anthony breakup, the word is being thrown around everywhere and it freaks me out!
