The Venezuelan actress, 30, got hitched last March in Miami. The couple exclusively revealed the baby news to People.com. “We couldn’t be more excited — or wildly unprepared,” expressed the parents-to-be. ”It’s going to be fantastic!”

In the new movie Monte Carlo (in theaters nationwide on Friday, July 1st), actresses Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy play three best friends who take a trip to Paris together. The on-screen love shared between their three characters is mirrored in real life, as Selena tells Latina.com that she and her co-stars were inseparable while they were filming the movie last year.

We've loved actress, Majandra Delfino since the year 1999, when the effervescent star had her breakout role as the quirky Maria DeLuca on the hit WB sci-fi series, Roswell. So we're thrilled that Majandra — who's part-Cuban and part-Venezuelan — has a starring role on the new ABC Family female buddy comedy, State of Georgia, premiering Wednesday, June 29th at 8:30/7:30c.

In TNT's new sci-fi series, Falling Skies (premiering Sunday at 9/8c), Mexican actress Seychelle Gabriel stars as Lourdes, a pre-med student who works in a makeshift hospital helping wounded people and conducting scientific experiments. Seychelle's hot new role in this drama (produced by Steven Spielberg) got us thinking about our favorite Latina sci-fi queens.
