—Burgeoning bachata star Prince Royce recently signed with Atlantic Records to release English language records!  The Billboard Latin Music award winner was originally signed by indie Top Stop Music, a label founded by Sergio George, who produced Royce’s first eponymously titled album. Sales soared due to hit singles like “Corazon Sin Cara” and Royce’s bilingual version of “Stand By Me.” The singer is currently working on the album, which will be released under a joint Top Shop/Atlantic label date sometime in early 2012.

Even Irish rockers The Script, who's song "Breakeven" Chris covered for his audition, tweeted about the Idol hopeful, “Chris Medina: Not only R U a major talent but U R 1 in a billion!
