Plan B, or the morning after pill, will now be sold as an over-the-counter drug and will be available for those 15 or older. While the pill used to be available for teens, the contraceptive was sold to those 17 or older, and only with a prescription. With the new law in place, those wishing to buy the pill can do so without seeing a pharmacist. cashiers will be responsible for age checks.

Selena Gomez may be a pop singer and actress, but she is a humanitarian at heart.
The 19-year-old star recently teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps grant wishes for children suffering with life-threatening medical conditions. Gomez granted the wish of a little girl named Ella, who was diagnosed with leukemia.

Heartbreaking news for Selena Gomez and her family. According to E! Online, the part-Mexican singer/actress canceled two concerts scheduled this past weekend because her mother reportedly suffered a miscarriage. The website is reporting that Gomez’s rep cited a “family emergency” as the reason for the concerts being canceled.
