Marisela Morales is Mexico's First Female Attorney General

Mexican President Felipe Calderón has nominated his top organized crime prosecutor, Marisela Morales, to become attorney general. If confirmed, she would be the first woman to hold the post. 

In nominating Morales, Calderón said the current head of the organized crime special investigations unit "enjoys prestige inside and outside the country."
