The beautiful Salma Hayek sat down for the cameras while shooting our historic 15th anniversary cover and told us all about how she is raising her daughter Valentina to love and appreciate all aspects of her culture. As Hayek has mentioned before, little Valentina is quite the talented linguist—she's mastered English, Spanish and French—but Salma is also making sure that her 3-year-old daughter understands what it means to be Mexican, and she thinks it's working!

It's hard to believe, but gorgeous Cuban beauty Daisy Fuentes has been in the game for over 20 years! She started her career as a model back in the 1980s and then proceeded to break down barriers for a whole new generation as the first ever Latina VJ on MTV. Since then, Fuentes has been building her brand with a fantastic fashion line for Kohl's, a beauty line and a set of exercise DVD's which turned into a super popular Nintendo Wii game. It is estimated that Fuentes sells about $300 million worth of clothing, accessories, and beauty products through Kohl’s every year!

We love Ana de la Reguera so much! She's a real, honest talent in a world of so many disposable starlets. Known for her serious turn in HBO Latino's critically acclaimed Capadocia, she kicked off her English-language career in Hollywood with a starring role a sexy nun in Nacho Libre opposite Jack Black and never looked back. But besides her talent, de la Reguera is unapologetically Latina in all facets of her life!
Watch the video below to see what she has to say about holding on to her roots and always being proud of who she is.

Eva Longoria has always been an outspoken and proud Latina. She even went back to school a few years ago to get her MA in Chicano Studies and to brush up on her Spanish. We love that she is always so involved in political issues surrounding our community and that she is an outspoken advocate for countless organizations from MALDEF to the NCLR and the campaign to create a National Museum of the American Latino. Here's what she had to say about growing up Latina in Texas.
