Standing at a looming 6ft. 8 in. tall, Carmelo Anthony may have the stature to model. Perhaps that’s why the New York Knicks player will grace the pages of Vogue Italia, New York magazine reports. The hubby of La La Vazquez told the website that he shot a multi-page spread and expects to be in the magazine’s July or August issue.

A lot of people don’t realize that I’m Latina, which is fine. One thing about being Latina is that there isn’t one look that comes with the territory. I don’t expect people to know my cultural background just by glancing at me. I do, however, expect that when I tell people my family is from Puerto Rico, that I will be believed and not accused of trying to be something that I’m not. It usually goes something like this: a person having a conversation with me discovers one way or another that I’m Puerto Rican and fluent in Spanish.

Former MTV VJ La La Vazquez and basketball star Carmelo Anthony are getting married this summer after a 5-year engagement. Vazquez, 30, announced the news yesterday on The Wendy Williams Show and said that although she and Anthony, 25, still have a bunch of details to work out, she's already hired wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss to plan the important day. "She did Heidi Klum and Seal's wedding and I liked her work so I hired her to come on board for my wedding," Vazquez told Williams.

Not every celeb wants to launch a full-fledged fashion line. Jessica Alba, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and La La Vasquez are among the dozens of starlets who designed one look (a T-shirt or a onesie) for "Spread the Love," a charity campaign jumpstarted by L.A. T-shirt line 2LOVE. Each piece features its celebrity designer's stylish interpretation of amor--cop them online at 2lovecollection.com, and a portion of proceeds will go to the charity of their choice.
