Followers of the hit telenovela La Reina del Sur were let down during Wednesday night's telecast in Mexico which was supposed to feature actress Kate del Castillo's character Teresa Mendoza and Cristina Urgel's character Patricia O'Farrell locked in a kiss. Televisa, the network that carries the broadcast, chose to censor the intimate moment between the characters.

Executives from the TV Standards & Practices board in Mexico filed multiple complaints this week about the violent nature and drug trafficking plot lines in La Reina del Sur. The boards main complaint is that the show airs too early and that La Reina del Sur should be moved to a later time due to the content.

La Reina del Sur has been smashing ratings records left and right (dominating programs across the board)—even English-language media is beginning to take notice.

The new show is ratings gold and has raked in so many viewers night after night that even English-language programs are noticing. As a matter of fact, the Telemundo soap opera (the most expensive in the channel's history) was featured recently in a special Today show segment!

-Rosario Dawson surprised everyone this weekend at the Spirit Awards. Paul Rudd and Eva Mendes were presenting the Best Screenplay award when Dawson suddenly ran on stage, joined the two and grabbed Rudd’s crotch! Rudd looked completely surprised but after a while didn’t seem to mind that Dawson was holding his package. It had to have been a dare!
