Today is Cheer Up the Lonely Day. The day when we're supposed to take the opportunity to make a lonely person happy. But the way we see it, being single doesn't mean you're lonely, and it certainly doesn't mean you need an hombre!

The sudden and unexpected death of Mexican telenovela actress Karla Alvarez has shocked the Latino show business scene. Celebrities took to Twitter to publicly mourn the 41-year-old.
Mexican singer and fellow telenovela actress Thalia, who was the lead in the show “Maria Mercedes” – which gave Alvarez her first role – said on Twitter: “Sad news with the departure of Karlita Alvarez. Great memories on Maria Mercedes. Prayers and light to her family. Rest in peace.”
