2011 has proven to be a very exciting year for bold jewelry trends. I'm all about making statements so you already know I'm very happy about this!
It’s all about the big chain necklaces, heavy metals and electric natural looks. Tribal accessories have been a very dominant trend, something I like to rock on what I like to call my 'casual hobo time.'

This past weekend I flew out to Los Angeles to do radio promotions for my new single ''Drop it Low" and to attend the MTV Video Music Awards. I also had to go to the BMI awards and a ton of other parties and events including a MUN2 interview and a club appearance for Kiss FM! I also had a Vibe magazine day-long photo shoot for a ''A Day in the Life of Kat Deluna'' piece they are working on.

If you want to drop it low like Kat, and look just as good as her while doing it, then you have to watch this video! Kat Deluna's trainer, Ary Nuñez, got the singer's body performance-ready and is sharing five of the exercises she did with the Dominican pop star. Do each of these exercises 32 times, then repeat the sequence twice more, and you'll have your own stage-worthy body!

Our celeb style contributor, Kat Deluna, answers your fashion questions!
I had a baby nine months ago. I’ve lost a lot of weight, but the extra pounds around my midsection won’t go away. How can I make that area appear slimmer?
One trick is wearing high-waisted bottoms. If you don’t feel comfy with that, you can try loose tops because they give the illusion of a slimmer body. Print pieces also work because the eye automatically focuses on the design of the print more than on your body.

Do you consider yourself a fashionista? Do you buy all the new trends and then when you look in your closet you have no idea what colors or patterns fit your "style"? Well, I do the same thing sometimes! As I get ready for a performance or event my question is always the same, “Do I look better in bright or dark colors?”

The other night I was rushing to put an outfit together and couldn’t decide what to do with my hair. Finally, I ended up pulling it back in a sleek bun and finished my look with some red lipstick. I got tons of compliments on how great my hair color was and how it took my sassy style to another level and then it hit me! Style isn't only about your wardrobe, it's based on your total look, from head to toe. It’s just as much about your shoes and accessories as it is your personality and hair color.
