Last night was the first part of ABC's Dancing With the Stars season finale, and our man J.R. Martinez landed a perfect score!
Despite his recent ankle injury, the part-Salvadorian Army veteran-turned actor pushed through last night during his freestyle performances with partner Karina Smirnoff—and his hip-hop/samba mash-up (his second performance of the night) earned the actor a perfect 30 score!

Salvadoran Dancing With The Stars contestant, J.R. Martinez, has garnered support from Tuesday’s guest performer, Justin Beiber, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After 28 year-old Martinez performed on the dance floor with partner Karina Smirnoff, he sang an excerpt from Beiber’s song “Never Say Never” in an interview with Brooke Burke.
