Our ladies were looking positively lovely last night at the 11th Annual Latin Grammy awards in Las Vegas. J. Lo glowed like the sun and Camilla Belle took a fashion risk in a curve-hugging Carolina Herrera gown. The overriding trends of the night seemed to be metallic, black lace and Valentino red.

The 2010 Latin Grammy nominations were announced today and Spanish crooner Alejandro Sanz, Dominican merengue icon Juan Luis Guerra, Jorge Drexler, and Mario Domm (lead singer of pop group Camila) came out on top with four nominations each.

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García has plenty of reasons to be happy. Her sophomore album, Boleto de Entrada, is coming out on Sept. 22 and the first single, “Feliz,” has already received the thumbs up from critics. Billboard.com noted that her “sharply observant lyrics and pained, husky voice are a satisfying contrast to the bouncy acoustic pop behind it.”

When Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García made her big debut two years ago with the romantic pop album Cualquier Día, she wasn’t expecting to win four Latin Grammy awards and the love of critics and listeners around the world. “With the first record, the only thing you want is to make something that you love and represents your work,” she says. Now she has another album on the horizon titled Boleto de Entrada (out Sept. 22), a more evolved sound and many more fans to please.
