This year marks the 25th Hispanic Heritage Awards, and Colombian rocker Juanes will receive special recognition. The 39-year-old superstar, one of the most beloved and internationally known Latino recording artists in the world, will be recognized for his accomplishments both on and off the stage at the ceremony, which will be held on Sept. 15 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. Mexican actress Maite Perroni and Cuban actor William Levy will host the awards gala.

Los Tigres del Norte filmed their MTV Unplugged special a while back, but they are still releasing the amazing music they created alongside a bevy of talented collaborators for the whole world to enjoy. The second single off their Unplugged album features Juanes, who helps them transform their classic, "La Jaula de Oro". This album is Los Tigres' twenty third number-one album on the Regional Mexican Albums chart! If that isn't impressive, we don't know what is.

The heavy-set Puerto Rican MC is sporting a much slimmer frame after dropping an astonishing 88 pounds (the old-fashioned way, with diet and exercise!). Joe credits fatherhood with motivating him to drop his surplus lbs. "Like, seven of my friends passed last year from heart attacks, and they were all 32, 34 years old," he told the New York Daily News. " And I said, 'I got kids, I can't leave 'em like that.'"
