Cyberspace buzzed this past weekend after hip-hop’s royalty couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed their daughter Blue Ivy Carter to the world. The baby’s unique name got us thinking about our own celebrities who have also pegged their little ones with eccentric titles.

The news surrounding Juanes’ highly anticipated MTV Unplugged album recording has just gotten sweeter!
Tr3s announced yesterday that the award-winning Colombian rocker will not only perform on stage – but he will also open it up to his most talented fans. How so? Through a competition, of course! Did you think it would be that easy to share the stage with one of Latin music’s most beloved artists!? We didn’t think so.

Talk about a dream team! Juanes is set to record an MTV Unplugged album and, according to Univision, the Colombian rocker will be under the leadership of none other than legendary Dominican singer/songwriter Juan Luis Guerra. Guerra is set to serve as Juanes’ musical director for the album, which will be shot and recorded in February next year.

The Latin Grammy Awards aired last night Thursday, November 10 live on Univision at 8PM), from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The star-studded event included incredible performances by Demi Lovato, Pitbull, Calle 13, Mana and a slew of other artists.

Nothing ushered us into the holiday spirit like hearing the new duet between Thalía and Michael Bublé this morning. In “Feliz Navidad,” the Mexican singer partnered up with the Canadian crooner in a perfect blend of both English and Spanish. We were pleasantly surprised to hear Bublé sing in español – in that voice often likened to the late Frank Sinatra.
