Times have been tough for the Rivera family. Over two months after the tragic death of Jenni Rivera, her eldest son Michael Marin (born Trinidad Angelo Marin) was arrested in Miami, Florida yesterday.
On the same day that the late regional Mexican singer was being honored at Premio Lo Nuestro, Marin was detained for a minor act of vandalism and charged with criminal mischief.

Mark your calendars Jenni Rivera fans! The regional Mexican singer's memoir, which she completed before her tragic death in December, will be released this July. According to the AP, the book titled, Unbreakable, will be printed in both English and Spanish by publishers, Simon & Schuster's Atria Books.

According to Mexican daily El Universal, Jenni Rivera fans are banned from visiting La Diva de la Banda at the All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, California where she is buried.
“Many people come here to visit Jenni’s tomb,” an anonymous cemetery employee told El Universal in Spanish, “But because it has no name many people don’t know where she is.”

The family members of four of the plane crash victims killed last month, alongside Jenni Rivera, filed a lawsuit against La Diva de la Banda's company yesterday in Los Angeles. The paperwork alleges that the singer was negligent when she hired a faulty Learjet 25, which plunged 28,000 feet and crashed in Northern Mexico.
