A few months ago, we told you about a U.S. rep from San Diego who supported a ban that would keep natural-born U.S. children from receiving citizenship if their parents were undocumented. Fifteen-Year-Old Mexican Boy Shot Dead By Border Agents

A fifteen-year-old boy was killed earlier this week by US Border patrol agents, setting off a string of protests and a possible homicide investigation by Mexican authorities. Although the Border Patrol claimed that the boy, Sergio Adrian Hernandez, was shot after he unsuccessfully tried to cross the border illegally and began to throw rocks at agents, two eyewitnesses claim otherwise.

Salma Hayek Angry About New Immigration Laws

Salma Hayek, who was born and raised in Mexico but is now a naturalized U.S. citizen, was asked recently about the new immigration laws passed in Arizona. The bill, entitled SB 1070, essentially gives law enforcement officials carte blanche to use racial profiling tactics and Hayek took the opportunity to voice her strong opinions on the matter.

"Of all these things that are going on, what surprises me the most is the lack of humanity with which immigrants are being treated," the Oscar-nominated actress told Notimex.

An image of Dora the Explorer with a black eye, posing for a mugshot and labeled as an "illegal" has been generating a lot of internet buzz.

Sometimes, we must admit, Dora the Explorer gets on our nerves—mainly due to her high pitched voice and endless repetition of catch phrases. But she definitely does not deserve the treatment she has received at the hands of anonymous online haters. There is even a Facebook group entitled "Dora the Explorer is so an illegal immigrant," which dedicates itself to bashing the beloved Nickelodeon character.
