President Obama will sign an Executive Order into law today at 1:50PM that will renew the administration's commitment to education for Latinos. The signing of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics follows a week-long National Education Summit and Call to Action hosted by the U.S. Department of Education which gathered community leaders from around the United States to discuss issues ranging from early childhood care to higher education.
