Breast cancer researchers have discovered new information about the disease, which may end up advancing treatment and saving lives. According to the U.S. Department of Health, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Latinas. Although white women present higher breast cancer rates than Latinas, it is more common for Hispanic women to get diagnosed at more advanced stages of cancer, which makes it more difficult to treat.
