The season finale of Lifetime’s hit show Project Runway may be set for tomorrow night (9/8c), but judge Nina Garcia has other things on her mind this week—like dressing her two sons (4-year-old Lucas and 11-month-old Alexander) for Halloween. "Halloween is all about my sons," says Garcia, who dished exclusively to Latina.com about her sons' Halloween costumes. "Lucas is going as a pirate and Alexander as a dragon. We love to play dress-up," she says.

A group of students in Ohio are so unhappy with racial stereotypes portrayed in certain Halloween costumes that they have organized a poster campaign against it. According to Daily Mail, the Students Teaching Against Racism in Society (STARS) of Ohio University claim that some costumes people don for the holiday can cause humiliation to minority ethnic groups.

When we caught up with the lovely Zoe Saldana last week in New York City, we asked the Latina movie star if she plans to dress up like Neytiri—her character from James Cameron’s Avatar—this Halloween. “No, that would be too arrogant of me,” said Saldana, 33. “But I’ll be looking forward to whoever is going to be dressed like Neytiri—or any past characters that I've done—because it always makes me feel so humbled and people get really creative with their costumes. I love watching them.”

Major retailers including Target, Walgreens and Amazon have been stirring up controversy by selling two versions of an illegal alien costume for Halloween. The "Illegal Alien Adult Costume" includes an orange jumpsuit, similar to prison garb, with "Illegal Alien" stamped in black across the chest; a space alien mask; and a fake Green Card.
