Despite a whirlwind of rumors, it has been confirmed that part-Mexican Demi Lovato is not back in rehab. Talk that the singer/actress might have returned to a treatment center were goaded by Lovato’s absence at the Grammys and a tweet she sent to fans last week saying, “Away on a mind and body cleansing retreat!! This is exciting. Won’t be tweeting much this week but I love you my lovatics!”

Latinos made their presence known at last night’s 54th Grammy Awards. One of several stand-out performances of the night was Bruno Mars’ nod to the 1960s belting out “Runaway” off of his Grammy nominated Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The vivacious part-Puerto Rican donned a dazzling gold blazer and was backed by a full band as he crooned and danced for the crowd. Mid-song Mars asked the audience to rev up their excitement shouting, “Yo, tonight we celebrate.

While there weren’t many Latinas walking the Grammy red carpet, there were two wearing statement dresses that made up for Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez’s absence. Fergie looked stunning in a bold orange Jean Paul Gaultier ‘peek-a-boo’ lace gown wearing nothing under, but a bra and high-waisted briefs. On another note, the eclectic jazz musician, Esperanza Spalding donned a unique ombre-inspired dress with a bronze belt.
