Costume designer and celeb stylist Eric Daman isn't any stranger to glamour; after all, he's the guy responsible for the gorgeous gowns you saw week-after-week on Gossip Girl. Currently, he's making 1980s Connecticut mall girls chic on The CW's new hit show The Carrie Diaries and also acting as brand ambassador at one of our favorite designer discount shops, Century 21.

It was reported earlier today that a Mexican version of the CW's hit show Gossip Girl, is headed for television.

I've got some juicy, amazing, exciting and news-breaking gossip to share with all of you: I love Joanna Garcia. Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little. I mean, it's not exactly news that I love the talented, beautiful and sweet-as-candy cubana who happens to be my favorite TV star and owns my TV-shaped heart. But I do actually have some chisme for you that I think you're really going to like: Today, when I spoke with Joanna, she gave me all of the details on her new hush-hush role on the CW's Gossip Girl.

Have you heard el chisme? Gossip Girl is finally going Latin! Joanna Garcia, my favorite Cuban TV actress, is set to star in at least four episodes of the provocative CW show's third season, starting with the Sept. 14 premiere, EW.com's Michael Ausiello is reporting.

We refuse to feel guilty over the pleasure we get from watching the CW’s trashy teen drama Gossip Girl. And yes, that was us squealing with delight when we read that our girl Nicole Richie could possibly nab a role on the show’s upcoming season finale.

We love us the back-stabbing, nail-biting drama of the CW's hit soap Gossip Girl,
but we couldn't help but notice that the characters on the screen were
a bit too vanilla for our taste. So we decided to shake things up on the
Upper East Side by recasting the show with all Latino actors. Hey, we
have color TVs for a reason, right?

Though most of us look at it as a guilty pleasure, América Ferrera believes there's nothing positive about teen soap dramas like Gossip Girl. "Like, if you're watching The Hills or 90210, all the backstabbing shapes the way we act," the star muses in the October issue of Seventeen. "I mean, I love Blake [Lively]; she's a wonderful friend of mine, but shows like Gossip Girl kind of condition us to be mean."

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this video is worth at least a million. América Ferrera let her real feelings for her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costar Blake Lively and her show Gossip Girl peek though when the pair were interviewed on the Fox network this weekend. The real hilarity comes in around 0:48. Enjoy!

Did anybody read Nicole Richie's novel The Truth About Diamonds? Yeah, neither did we, but now we can get all the fascinating details we missed by tuning into a new TV show based on the book, a coming-of-age story about one Chloe Parker, adopted by a superstar musician at age seven and eventually joining the ranks of hard-partying celebutantes, ending up in rehab and surrounded by tabloid-worthy drama—ring any bells?
