Cameron Diaz recieved shocking and sad news early this morning—her father, 58-year-old Emilio Diaz, died suddenly from complications with pneumonia. Emilio, a second generation Cuban American who resided in Seal Beach, Calif., and worked as a foreman at an oil company, had been battling the flu which turned into pneumonia, reports TMZ. Otherwise he had been in "terrific health," according to TMZ's source.
