It's simple versus layered when it comes to these two fashionistas. During NY Fashion Week in September, actress Zoe Saldana attended the Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2009 fashion show in the designer's floral ruffled strapless dress with a red clutch and black peep toes. In February, Diane von Furstenberg employee and reality star of The City Olivia Palermo wore the same dress under a sweater and belt with black tights and boots to a luncheon for Elle magazine's March issue.

It was the same dress and print but different colors for these two actresses. Heroes hottie Dania Ramirez wore the orange Jay Godfrey silk maxi dress with a leather belt to the premiere of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience on Feb. 24, 2009. Valkyrie actress Carice van Houten wore the black version with a black clutch and bold cocktail ring to the Montblanc Signature for Good Charity Initiative a few days earlier.

Collar up or down? Back in October, Rachel Weisz attended The Brothers Bloom premiere in London in Roland Mouret's black and cream assymetrical dress with black pumps, a sleek updo and the flowing collar up. This past weekend, Jessica Alba wore the same dress to the Vanity Fair Oscar party with a gold clutch, black peep toes and the cream collar off her shoulder.

If you're anything like us, you're already gearing up for the spring season. Ahh, spring—we feel a rush of anticipation just thinking about the warm weather. Some things never change when it comes to a spring wardrobe: flirty dresses, dark sunglasses and sexy sandals. This year, try to brighten up your look with the color yellow. It's fun and bold, just like you.

Making a big comeback this spring are black and white, mod-inspired prints (as seen in Latina's March trend story, "Mod Squad" on p. 32). I fell in love with all the looks, but unfortunately there was one skirt that didn't make it onto the page. Banana Republic's Geo-print tulip skirt is now on sale for $39.99 from $69 at bananarepublic.com, and it's a must-have for the coming season.

As we gear up for Penelope Cruz's big win on Sunday night at the Academy Awards (fingers crossed!), we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of her most memorable moments in fashion. Because let's be honest, although we're all praying she's named Best Supporting Actress for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, isn't it all really about the red carpet?
