Dozens of Hollywood's biggest celebrities—Latino and otherwise—stepped out on the red carpet for the ALMA awards last night. Host/producer Eva Longoria Parker dazzled in an array of gowns, but her best accessory was definitely her husband Tony Parker.

It seems Eva Longoria Parker's pregnant-girl dresses are just wishful thinking. Her boss Marc Cherry, the Desperate Housewives creator and producer, blabbed all details of the star’s baby-making efforts to Us Weekly. "Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with [husband] Tony Parker," he said. "After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call."

While his on-screen wife Eva Longoria Parker is still dodging pregnancy rumors, Ricardo Chavira (who plays Carlos Solis on Desperate Housewives) is embracing fatherhood for the second time. The actor and his wife Marcea Dietzel have welcomed a baby girl, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Belen Elysabeth Chavira, born Monday evening in San Antonio, Texas, came in at 7 lbs., 12 oz., and is the fourth member of the Chavira-Dietzel clan. The couple, who married last year, has a 5-year-old son, Tomas.

Eva Longoria Parker's super-short bob, which she debuted last week to mixed reviews, may have been a labor of love from husband Tony Parker. "Tony cut my hair!" the actress tells Entertainment Tonight. "I had to cut my hair for the show [Desperate Housewives] because Gabrielle has short hair," she says. "I wore a wig in the last episode, but I didn't want to wear a wig this whole season, so I was like, 'I'm going to cut it!'"

Is Gabrielle Solis trading in her yoga mat for a frying pan? Not likely, but her alter-ego Eva Longoria-Parker is. The Desperate Housewives star opened her new restaurant Beso in Los Angeles yesterday, with a little help from celebrity chef Todd English. "Everything is painted, every candle is lit, every glass has arrived,"
she tells People magazine. "So we’re not like, 'The chairs are not in!' So far there has not been a catastrophic emergency
happening. So I am very excited."

No more bon-bons for this housewife! Eva Longoria-Parker headed back to work on the set of Desperate Housewives last week, kicking her fitness routine into high gear so she can squeeze herself into Gabrielle Solis' skimpy wardrobe. "I'm working out, I'm eating my healthy food I get prepared," she tells People. "It is so much easier being in shape when you're on the
show because you have a chef and the gym is right there, so you really
have no excuse."
