Last night was the first part of ABC's Dancing With the Stars season finale, and our man J.R. Martinez landed a perfect score!
Despite his recent ankle injury, the part-Salvadorian Army veteran-turned actor pushed through last night during his freestyle performances with partner Karina Smirnoff—and his hip-hop/samba mash-up (his second performance of the night) earned the actor a perfect 30 score!

ABC's Dancing With the Stars is coming down to the wire and one star whose fancy footwork has left the greatest imprint in our hearts is none other than J.R. Martinez. The part-Salvadorian Army veteran-turned actor has definitely had his ups and downs on the dancing competition show, and we’re excited to see him give his all tonight. We're definitely rooting for him all the way!

J.R. Martinez is one step closer to (hopefully) winning Dancing With the Stars! The Salvadorian Army veteran-turned actor made it to the final three of the dancing competition. Now, 28-year-old Martinez is pitted against Robert Kardashian and Ricki Lake for first place. DWTS contestant and soccer athlete Hope Solo was eliminated from the show.

Salvadoran Dancing With The Stars contestant, J.R. Martinez, has garnered support from Tuesday’s guest performer, Justin Beiber, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After 28 year-old Martinez performed on the dance floor with partner Karina Smirnoff, he sang an excerpt from Beiber’s song “Never Say Never” in an interview with Brooke Burke.
