Amazon.com isn’t just for shopping anymore! Thanks to its new political comedy series Alpha House and Cuban actress, Yara Martinez, the site is getting into the online TV game.
Martinez, who co-stars with Mark Consuelos and John Goodman, portrays Adriana de Portago, a Miami Cuban billionaire heiress who assembles Republican super packs. She also gets to lock lips with Consuelos (wink!). Here, she talks to us about Alpha House, meeting Kelly Ripa, her favorite Cuban restaurant in New York City and more!

Cubanos are marveling at an amazing coincidence in a western Havana neighborhood. On two consecutive blocks, 12 sets of twins live alongside each other. The twins range in age from newborns to senior citizens.
“We were the first ones,” said Fe Fernandez, 65. Her identical sister, Esperanza, said, “It’s incredible!”

Gloria Estefan fans rejoice! The Cuban singer is preparing new music since dropping her 2011 dance album, Little Miss Havana. The Grammy-winning star is working on her dream project, a jazz-inspired album titled, The Standards. The project is slated to be released on September 10, reports NBC Latino.

The story on The Voice last night wasn’t about Shakira (yet she was involved). The brightest performance of the night came via Havana, Cuba-born Mary Miranda. Before the teenaged Miranda took the stage she told her story—and boy was it a weeper. She came to Albuquerque from Cuba, she was teased in school and her dad lives in Barcelona. Her one reminder of him she wears -- a necklace he gave her.
