After creating his ocean-inspired spring collection, Carmen Marc Valvo came to MAC makeup artist Romero Jennings knowing that a teal eye would be the perfect complement. Romero modernized the classic 60s shade by pairing it with a light gold-green metallic (the new MAC shade, called Dalliance, will be available this spring) and a neutral, brownish-pink lip color (the shade, called Super is part of a new Kissable Lip Color line also coming out in spring).

Fashion houses, like all houses in America, are not immune to the plagued state of the economy. The Wall Street Journal reports designer Carmen Marc Valvo has decided not to stage a runway show in February at New York Fashion Week, due to high costs and smaller audiences.
