The time is rapidly approaching for us to finally see Ricky Martin do his thing on Broadway!
As we’ve been reporting for months now, our gorgeous February 2012 cover model will star in the highly anticipated musical Evita, which will begin its previews on March 12.
We did a little more digging, then realized Martin isn’t alone on Broadway. There are other Latino stars who have pranced around stage and sang their hearts out recently and otherr who, like Martin, are ready to hit the stage this spring.

After only 30 previews and 69 performances, Pedro Almodovar's Broadway adaptation of his Oscar-nominated movie Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown will be closing on January 2nd.

We recently caught up with composer/actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, who rocked the world of Broadway with his amazing show In the Heights—a musical about the Washington Heights neighborhood in New York that incorporated hip-hop and salsa rhythms, featured an almost entirely Latino cast and wracked up four TONY Awards in 2008 (including Best Musical).
