In a recent interview with MTV, Demi Lovato confessed that her eating disorder, which she continues to address daily, has made her rethink her career aspirations. She told Live From MTV,  “I don't know If I'm going back to acting... I think someone that's recovering from an eating disorder can only be in front of the camera so much before it starts to play mind games."

Over the course of a rough 2008, I lost an alarming 10 pounds. Not much to some, but when you’re already treading through underweight territory, it can be downright dangerous.

My wake up call finally came late last summer, the morning after I’d weighed myself in at 76 pounds. I nearly blacked out in the middle of the street on my way to work and spent the rest of the day in the hospital. As bad as my immediate diagnosis was (a scary combo of starvation, dehydration and exhaustion that lowered my blood pressure), I had a tougher pill to swallow several weeks later.

Madrid Fashion Week Shuns Too-Skinny Models

Protruding collarbones. Visible ribcages. Spaghetti noodle-like arms. Pretty images, they're not, but we saw them everywhere during New York Fashion Week. Skinny doesn't begin to describe what models look like these days, and while Manhattanites will do as they do, writing articles (here's another) and holding panels about the lack of diverse faces and bodies on the runway after the fact, Spain is taking preemptive action.
