Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15, and President Obama is kicking off the month-long celebration in a major way!
The White House will be hosting a concert event honoring Latin music on September 16. There will be performances by Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, Lila Downs, Romeo Santos, Alejandro Sanz, Prince Royce, Natalie Cole, Marco Antonio Solis, Arturo Sandoval and Raul Malo.

Multi-Latin GRAMMY Awards winning singer Alejandro Sanz is getting ready to receive an extremely high honor.
On November 6, 2013, the Spanish superstar will be the recepient of an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music.
This comes in recognition of Sanz's achievements and influence on contemporary music.
