Ex-Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori, who is already serving three concurrent prison sentences for crimes including ordering killings by security forces, was back in court for his fourth and final trial, BBC News reports. He was sentenced to an additional six years in jail for corruption. The controversial leader was the President of Peru for ten years, from 1990-2000. He returned from exile in late 2007 to face a number of charges.

Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison Monday after he admitted to illegally paying his spy chief, Vladimiro Montesinos, $15 million in government funds. Fujimori told the court he paid off Montesinos to prevent a coup he feared was being plotted against him. Peru’s Supreme Court wasn’t buying it.
