Garcia plays a 19-year-old Chicago-bred Latina who struggles to fulfill her dreams of becoming a professional dancer despite a slew of obstacles. The film, which hits theatres today, was written, directed, and produced by Latina Carmen Marron and features a mostly Hispanic cast.
