We couldn't stop giggling at the Modern Family promos that aired during last night's Oscar telecast and apparently, we weren't the only ones who just loved the commercials. Watching Phil Dunphy guess while Sofia Vergara's Gloria Pritchett acts out an unknown film is the highlight, "Pretty Woman! Sex & the City! Milk!"
Someone was even kind enough to post the extended version to Youtube so we just had to share. Watch the funny promo below:

The right music can heighten a viewer’s emotional connection to any film, creating tension (remember Jaws?), fright, sadness and a host of other feelings from the safety of your seat. A handful of Argentine composers have not only succeeded in doing this, but have also nabbed Academy Awards nominations (or wins!) in the process.

We had a chance to catch up with iconic Spanish actor Javier Bardem when his new film Biutiful premiered in New York. The beautiful and tragic film, written and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Amores Perros, Babel, 21 Grams) follows Bardem's character Uxbal, a poor man living in the slums of Barcelona with two kids and a drug addict wife who finds out that he has terminal cancer and only a few months left to live.
