Star Tracker: Mariah Carey, Bérénice Bejo, and Q'orianka Kilcher

— We know Mariah Carey is a bit of a workaholic. But recording music from her bed… really? According to Contact Music, the part-Venezuelan songstress brought her music to her during her pregnancy with 7-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe (best known as Dem Babies). “I was in so much pain. I was laying on this bed and we had a studio set up in the room,” the singer told Fuse. “JD (Jermaine Dupri) was there and Randy Jackson was playing bass live and it was just this whole moment. I love it a lot."

— Congrats to Thalía! The 40-year-old Mexican singer/actress announced via Twitter recently that her Primera Fila album went triple platinum. “Many congratulations to all of the Sony Music team for this great achievement,” the gorgeous mother of two tweeted. “Without a doubt the most-sold album in the last few years.”

— We knew it would be a magical weekend with the premiere of Syfy’s new mini-series Neverland. The two-part show, which stars part-Peruvian actress Q’orianka Kilcher, started off with some pretty good ratings, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Neverland drew a reported 2.6 million total viewers from 9-11 p.m. on Sunday evening, which was an increase from the cable network's last miniseries, Alice. The show bases itself as a prequel to Peter Pan, the classic character created by the late Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie.

— Argentinean actress Bérénice Bejo will be honored for her performance in The Artist at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Deadline reports. The silent romance film has already garnered numerous nominations and buzz, so this is just another cherry on top of the cake. The festival’s Cinema Vanguard Award will be given to Bejo and her co-star Jean Dujardin on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012.
