George Lopez has reportedly sealed a new position with Carnival Cruise Lines, Tr3s reports. As part of the company’s “Fun Ship 2.0” initiative, the 50-year-old Mexican American funny man will manage its Punchliner Comedy Club. The “Fun Ship” initiative brings new bar, dining and entertainment experiences to the company’s fleet.

Charisma Carpenter is guest starring in CW’s Supernatural, TV Guide reports. The 41-year-old actress of Spanish descent will reunite with James Marsters, her former co-star from Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the episode, which will run Oct. 21. Sera Gamble, an executive producer for the show, said that Carpenter plays a “very powerful witch.” “In the episode, she starts throwing her power around because she and her husband are in the middle of a contentious divorce,” she said.

— Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro has been confirmed to co-star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Last Stand. According to Hollywood Reporter, the 36-year-old will play an officer who loves to party and has to report to the former California governor. Last Stand is directed by South Korean screenwriter Kim Jee Woon and begins shooting at the end of this month in New Mexico.
