Chef Pati Joins Latina As Food Contributor
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 6, 2011 – Patricia Jinich, host of the public television series Pati’s Mexican Table, joins Latina magazine as a contributing food writer offering her unique take on Latin cuisine. Chef Pati will contribute twice a month to Latina.com and regularly in the magazine.
“I am thrilled to share my passion for food with readers of Latina,” says Chef Pati. “The kitchen is a precious place in Latino cultures — it’s a place where we can explore and share our diverse backgrounds and family customs. Food is so magical: no matter what challenges we face in life, at the end of the day, we can find meaning and comfort in what we chose to serve on our plates. I am looking forward to sharing from my plate and tasting from those of Latina readers!”
“As a huge fan of Pati’s Mexican Table, it is both personally and professionally thrilling for me to welcome Chef Pati to our team,” adds Latina editorial director Galina Espinoza. “Her authentic, accessible approach to mealtime is a perfect fit for our audience.”
