Javier Bardem’s Spanglish Oscar Speech
After claiming the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for No Country for Old Men at the 80th Academy Awards, Javier Bardem gave one of the most memorable acceptance speeches in recent history by going native. During his heartfelt speech, the Spaniard broke out the Castilian as he dedicated his award to his mama, grandparents and the comedians of Spain. “This is for Spain and this is for all of you." And with that, our love for Bardem grew deeper!
