Pop Culture: Hector Elizondo

Hector Elizondo helps Julia Roberts Shop in Pretty Woman
Who needs a fairy godmother when you’ve got Hector Elizondo? Moments after Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman experiences a little Beverly Hills boutique bias, she turns to hotel manager Barnard Thompson (Elizondo) for help securing a dress for her date with Richard Gere’s character. After some initial discomfort, he decides to help her buy a dress and even coaches her on proper dinner etiquette in one of the film’s most charming scenes. Its no wonder Elizondo received a Golden Globe nomination for his work, even though his role in Pretty Woman only lasted 10 minutes.

She's a pop culture junkie who watches way too much television, and she still hoards magazines.
