Vice President Joe Biden is once again addressing the importance of immigration.

During a speech at Miami Dade College's graduation ceremony, Biden declared that immigration is crucial to American innovation.

Biden stated that the "constant, substantial stream of immigrants" is important to transforming the economy.

"That's why we have to act to bring 11 million people out of the shadows and put them on a path to citizenship," the Vice President said, according to Fox News Latino. "These people are already Americans."

Earlier this year, Biden delivered a passionate speech rallying for undocumented immigrants and immigration reform.

"They just want a decent life for their kids and a chance to contribute to a free society, a chance to put down roots and help build the next great American century," he said. "I really believe that. That's what they're fighting for."
