A special delivery, indeed! An 8-year-old girl helped her mother deliver her baby brother, after the mom went into labor at their home. The Tampa, Florida family found themselves in a crisis after mother Krystie Garcia had her daughter, Jazmine McEnaney, call 911 to send paramedics to their home after going into labor. The baby, however, didn't want to wait -- and tiny Jazmine had to help her mother through giving birth.
"I was a little freaked out," Jazmine told TODAY. Talking to Emily Hall, a 22-year veteran with the Tampa emergency dispatch, the two were able to help deliver the baby safe and sound.
"Tell Jazmine to support the baby's head and shoulders," Hall told Garcia. Jazmine apparently worked like a pro and baby Joseph James Snyder, or JJ, was born. The family was soon driven to the hospital to recover. Hall met with them the next day.
"Congratulations, hero," Hall told Jazmine.
