Ricky Martin Releases "Vida" For The 2014 World Cup!

Ricky Martin released an energetic new track for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil!

"Vida"  was released on Tuesday, and will be included in the Official FIFA World Cup album, One Love, One Rhythm. The song was written by the winner of the SuperSong global competition, Elijah King, who worked closely with Martin to record the final track. King, a Puerto Rican songwriter, was announced as the winner of the competition in early February.

The song's lyrics pay homage to the international soccer tournament's ability to bring people from every nation together to celebrate "la vida buena."

The upbeat music video was shot in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and shows off the country's vibrant culture and people. "I had a lot of fun flying to and shooting in Brazil," Martin said. "It's an incredible feeling to be able to have the opportunity to participate in a global initiative like SuperSong. I was very excited to finally be able to sing 'Vida' and share this special song with the world."

"Vida" is the second song to be released in anticipation of the World Cup. PitbullJennifer Lopez, and Claudia Leitte dropped "We Are One (Ole Ola)" earlier this month.
