Mun2 Airs 'I Love Jenni' Marathons to Honor Late Singer

Though she is no longer with us, plans have been put into effect to see the recently deceased Jenni Rivera more than usual behind the small screen.

That’s because Mun2 has begun airing special marathons of the late banda singer’s hit reality show “I Love Jenni” yesterday. According to TV Guide, the cable network aimed at young Latinos aired episodes from the show’s second season yesterday at 6/5c until 2/1c. The same schedule applies today, and mun2 will reportedly run additional episodes from the second season of “I Love Jenni” tomorrow, as well as “Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis 'n Control,” on Thursday and Friday.

“I Love Jenni” follows the personal life of the late banda singer and her five children (Johnny, Chiquis, Jacqui, Michael, and Jenicka), as well as Rivera’s life as a recording artist. Full episodes can be viewed on YouTube under mun2tv’s channel. For two seasons, the show has provided a window into Rivera and her fierce personality and uninhibited vocabulary – and interesting parenting style.

Check out a clip of Rivera’s parenting below – filled with tough love and a cluster of curse words aimed at her kids. It was all love, though. “I totally love what I do and I love my fans,” Rivera said in the short video, “but at the end of the day, what I want to be is just a good mom.”
