After months of anticipation, Disney and Lucasfilm revealed the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, and Latino actor Oscar Isaac is set to join the stars of the original saga!

The Guatemalan-Cuban actor, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Inside Llewyn Davis, joins legendary actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker in the reboot of the acclaimed franchise.

According to Buzzfeed, the full cast includes Girls star Adam Driver, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Max von Sydow, Andy Serkis and Domhnall Gleeson.

Director J.J. Abrams said, "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

Principal photography will begin in London in May, and the film is set to be released on Dec. 18, 2015.
