The enigmatic La Casa Matusita has been a source of speculation and horror in Lima, Peru for decades. Although the bottom floor has been occupied by a bank and other businesses for years, the top floor remains vacant — haunted by an unknown, unruly ghost.
Although many stories circulate about the paranormal activity of the bright yellow house, most believe the haunting originated with a Japanese family by the name of Matusita. The husband allegedly murdered his wife and her lover in cold blood when he caught them in the physical throes of their affair. After slaughtering the lovers, he ended his own life. His ghost continued to haunt the premises, and in the years that followed, the house became the scene of countless acts of evil
