As summer turns to fall and the air gets cooler, you’re not the only one changing up your look—Apple yesterday announced a whole host of changes to its family of iPods, along with lower prices, fresh new colors and great new features, and all of them are available right now.

Each of the iPod versions got varying degrees of a makeover, but the iPod nano saw the most noticeable improvements: a tiny video camera, built-in speaker and larger screen lets you shoot video and pictures wherever you go, and it still keeps its sleek shape at roughly the size of a business card and less than a quarter of an inch thick! The camera is perfect for shooting pics or video with friends and keeping them with you—or tossing them up on YouTube and Facebook for everyone else to get a good laugh. The new model also sports an FM radio tuner, plus a brand-new iTunes Tagging feature: Hear a song you like on the radio? Tag it, and you’ll get a reminder about buying it when you plug your iPod back into the computer. For workout fanatics, it’s got a built-in pedometer to track your steps taken and calories burned. The new iPod nano comes in two sizes—8GB (about 2,000 songs’ worth of space or eight hours of video) for $149, and 16GB (about 4,000 songs or 16 hours of video) for $179—and nine hot colors to choose from.

The iPod Touch didn’t get as many bells and whistles added to it, but it did get something we can all appreciate: a price drop. The 8GB Touch is now $199, and larger models of the Touch are available in 32GB ($299) and a whopping 64GB ($399). With its vibrant 3.5-inch touchscreen display, built-in Wi-Fi and access to more than 75,000 games, tools, applications and more on Apple’s legendary App Store, it’s still the go-to gadget for people who want to do music, movies, games—everything. The iconic iPod Classic now lets you carry a massive 160GB of music and movies with you (that’s roughly 40,000 songs or more than eight straight days’ worth of video!) for $249, and the super-tiny iPod Shuffle saw its price tag shrink even further, down to just $59 for 2GB or $79 for 4GB.
