Commentary: Marco Rubio Is On The Wrong Side Of Immigration Reform

Luckily I’m not the only person who thinks he’s really wrong about this one. In fact, a group of LGBT, Latino and immigrant activists interrupted Marco’s speech last night at the HIllsborough County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner in Tampa, FL. The GetEqual advocacy group shouted “include our families in immigration reform! All families matter!” in protest.

As a bisexual Latina myself, I’m happy that more people are standing up against Marco’s policies. With a large number of Latinos supporting LGBT families being included in immigration reform and 59% of Latinos supporting their state legally recognizing same-sex marriage, Marco is definitely on the wrong side of the issue.

And I’m sure that he will soon find out just how wrong he is.
