One day after Donald Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto’s cordial meet-up, the two are fighting on Twitter.
Here's what happened: While in Mexico, the Republican nominee said that he and Peña Nieto discussed building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border but did not talk about the bill – as in who will be paying for the wall. Peña Nieto, however, contends that he told Trump immediately that Mexico wouldn't be spending any money on the structure. Upon returning to U.S. soil, Trump, predictably, switched up, leaving his softened immigration stance in Mexico to tell an audience in Phoenix, Arizona that his several controversial policies on the issue still stand, including forcing our southern neighbor to pay for the invoice.
Always brave behind his computer screen, Trump on Thursday tweeted, “Mexico will pay for the wall.”
Mexico will pay for the wall!

Peña Nieto, who insists otherwise, didn’t like that very much, and responded, "Repeating what I told you in person, Mr. Trump: Mexico will never pay for a wall."
Repito lo que le dije personalmente, Sr. Trump: México jamás pagaría por un muro. https://t.co/IJNVe0XepY

We’re just here like: No one has to pay a dime if we just kill this ludicrous border wall idea entirely.
