When Latina was looking for a woman to write about what it means to be a modern day Latina mom, there was no doubt Natalie Morales of the Today show was it. Brazilian and Puerto Rican, Natalie juggles 2 kids, a full time job and all the unique challenges that come with being a mom and being Latina.
“It is a real honor to contribute for Latina magazine on top of my duties at the Today show. Latina has a unique perspective representing a growing and constantly evolving population of women – a population I proudly represent,” says Morales. “It’s a great opportunity to add my voice to the issues that affect so many of us who grew up a little differently, in Latin households, and to embrace our beautiful and diverse backgrounds.”
Natalie’s column makes its debut in the February 2011 issue of Latina, which hits newsstands on January 11th but you can ask your parenting questions of Natalie now. Click here to send Natalie a question.
“We are thrilled to partner with such an amazing talent. Not only is Natalie a renowned journalist, but she is also an inspiring role model for our readers, many of whom are trying to figure out what it means to be a modern Latina mom,” adds Latina editorial director Galina Espinoza.
